things that don’t involve my biased opinion
Although the main point of this website is to serve as a way to get my written work ‘out there,’ I also have some of my own music projects I’m proud of. Feel free to check them out below, or escape this dungeon of mind-shattering musical talent by retreating into the welcoming arms of my evocative written work.
Original Music: Kevin Bader – Footprints (2021)
His follow-up to 2020’s Lighthouse (which I also play on) Kevin Bader’s Footprints is another fun album made up of an eclectic song mix. I provide the drums once again, so you should definitely check it out! The Bandcamp link is below, as well as my personal favorite song off the album.
Original Music: Kevin Bader – Lighthouse (2020)
Here’s an album I was fortunate enough to provide drums on as a guest musician. The 2020 Kevin Bader album, Lighthouse, features yours truly on four of the tracks: “Stockton, Me Lads,” “My Heart Is Fulfilled,” “You Are Strong,” and “Pull Together.” Below is a link to Kevin’s Bandcamp page, where you can purchase LighthouseContinue reading “Original Music: Kevin Bader – Lighthouse (2020)”
Parody Cover: Smells Like Vegan Spirit

The parody lyrics were written by Jessica Bader, and the song was performed by Kevin BaderContinue reading “Parody Cover: Smells Like Vegan Spirit”
Cover: The Police – Don’t Stand So Close To Me
Here’s a cover of The Police’s “Don’t Stand So Close To Me” from their 1980 album, Zenyatta Mondatta. It features Jessica Bader on vocals and keys, Kevin Bader on vocals, guitar, and bass, and yours truly on drums. It was recorded during the beginning of quarantine in 2020.
Cover: For King & Country – Little Drummer Boy
This is a “Little Drummer Boy” cover I played with Hear The Music Ministries as the opening song for a Christmas show we did back in 2019. This version is a cover of the great rendition by the band For King & Country from their 2017 live album, Christmas: Live From Phoenix.
